Our History
parks-n-rec to 501c3 non-profit
Pearland Archery Club started in 2011 as a program of Pearland Parks and Recreation. The USA Archery programs offered included Explore Archery and Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD). Shooting sessions were held at many City of Pearland facilities, including the City Hall Recreation Center, the Recycle Center, and the Recreation Center on Bailey.
In 2016, in an effort to expand participation and programming, the 501c3 non-profit, Greater Pearland Archery Club (GPAC) was formed. The non-profit group grew out of the City's Recycle Center and found a new home at the Skylar Sun Sports facility at 4102 Veterans Drive, very near the Pearland Rec Center.
Pearland Archery Club thanks all the previous and current coaches, instructors, volunteers and parents who helped to create the Club and who continue to serve our Mission in Pearland, Texas!
